Hi,
Seniors I have a query – Is notice period applicable in probation period? Please Reply to this.
Provided that, the company mentioned following things regarding notice period in appointment letter,
The period of notice: will be one month on either side or salary in lieu thereof, however in case of resignation the notice period may be waived off at the discretion of the management.

Hi Sachin,

Notice period is applicable during probation, based on the company policy. Normally, organizations mention this in the offer letter. At management's discretion, the same can be waived off.

Notice period depends on the company's policy. Your appointment letter states that a one-month notice period is applicable to everybody, irrespective of probationary or confirmed employees.

Hi Sachin,

The notice period is not necessary during the probation period, but you can't expect a favorable response from your current company, and that experience is also not considered. During background verification, they may provide negative remarks.
