Hi Ankush,
I have no idea about ICFAI and IGNOU, but I do not hold very good views about them. IMT, no doubt, is very popular for the DLP MBA program, but I know loads of people who are doing their MBA from there, and I see no value addition in terms of their attitude towards work or knowledge enhancement. Anyone and everyone can join IMT and do his/her MBA.
I would suggest that you at least check your options for LBSIM (Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management). They have an evening program for working executives where you are required to attend classes at least 4-5 times a week for 2 hours in the evening. The course duration is 3 years, and the Institute claims that the curriculum is the same as that of the regular program.
Though LBS is not that great, among the institutes I know that have evening programs, this is one of the best. Besides, a lot depends on the student itself. You should have an objective in mind. You need to ask yourself, why do you want to do an MBA? Is it A: to get a master's degree that will help you in promotions/better job in the future or B: you actually want to learn some management fundamentals and want to have some knowledge enhancement.
FMS also has an evening program, but I think for the evening classes, they have visiting faculty who cannot devote as much time as permanent faculty and who will also not take pains in addressing your queries.
Bharati Vidyapeeth at CP or somewhere close to that area has an evening program, but I do not have any idea about their programs, faculty, and the likes.
If you only have to get a degree or a diploma, then I suggest opting for the institute that does not stress you and burden you with assignments/projects/case studies. But if you really want to learn and develop a professional approach towards your work, then better opt for an institute that emphasizes teaching/knowledge and personality development.
Regards,
Tan
