I am planning to do an MBA through distance education, as I am already working. I wanted to know the best institutes that offer an MBA and also hold value for the degree. I also require your suggestions in selecting the stream for MBA, as I am already working as an Assistant Manager in Training and Development. I hope to receive replies from all of you. If you have any brochures about certain institutes, that would be helpful. Finally, would it be appropriate for me to do an MBA, or do you think I should pursue some other course?

You can contact the Regional Centre, Indira Gandhi National Open University, CIT Campus, Taramani, Chennai, to join the MBA Programme. You need to take an entrance examination for this. This is to support what Dr. Murthy has said. I share my experience of doing the course from XLRI, Jamshedpur. It helped me immensely to be prepared for the competitive world. The standard that is maintained there will remain unmatched.
In fact, from this year, they are offering campus recruitment to the working MBA course. Doesn't this sound great... You work, you learn, and in the end, you earn a lot more than what you are earning now! Think about it.
