Monthly maximum 78 hours one employee can be availed as per the statute i.e. 3 Hrs per day for 26 days. Rgds Ganeswara Rao Perumalla

The overtime hours are generally regulated by day, week, and then by quarter. It is 10 hours per day, 60 hours per week, and 75 hours per quarter. Although section 64 has given the state government power to regulate the hours of work and overtime, subsection 4 provides that it should not exceed the above (10, 60, and 70) in ordinary circumstances. I am unaware of any state government rule which prescribes 78 hours of overtime per month. Please clarify.
