Hi, I joined the organization on the 1st of June with a probation period of three months. Now, it has been three months and 21 days. I had a conversation with our director on the 2nd of September, and he mentioned that he would update me soon via email. However, even after sending a reminder email 20 days later, I have not received any updates regarding my updated salary structure.
I am considering resigning from the organization, but I am apprehensive about potential harassment, which is common in many organizations. In the offer letter, it was stated that I should resign with one full month of notice period to allow for finding a replacement. As one month has almost elapsed without any updates, I am concerned about how the organization may hold me accountable for the notice period.

The notice period would run from the date of resignation. It appears you have yet to submit your resignation, so the 20 days of service you have given after the three-month probation is not countable against the notice period. This is a clever trick played by the management. On the one hand, they will defer any wage increase to the maximum extent possible, saying probation is continuing. On the other hand, if you say you are resigning, they will demand a notice period applicable for permanent employees. So it is a typical 'Heads I win, Tails you lose' scenario. To overcome this, demand an explanation from the powers that be in your organization, be it the HR or the Director, and confront them. At any rate, this organization doesn't seem to be worth your service.

Why not discuss this with your HR? It has only been 21 days so far. There might be some internal processes to consider. I suggest knocking on the door and finding out instead of making any hasty decisions.
