Monthly gross - 30,000/-. Basic - 15,000/-, HRA - 7,500/-, and Other Allowances - 7,500/-. Less PF deduction - 1,800/- and PTAX - 200/- (Say). Therefore, the total deduction is 2,000/- per month.
Therefore, the take-home salary = 30,000 - 2,000 = 28,000/- per month.
