Hi all, I need to create the salary breakdown for the CTC of Rs. 2,85,000 and Rs. 3,60,000. I am looking to determine the components of the breakdown and the take-home pay.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide an explanation or share an Excel format to assist me with this.
PS: PF is not applicable.
Thanks & Regards,
Daksha

It depends on your company's policies. Generally, CTC is divided into salary and benefits.
Salary Components
Salary includes your fixed pay, house rent, travel and conveyance, accommodation, and other allowances.
Benefits Components
Benefits include gratuity, ESIC, PF, medical benefits, etc.
So, you should check what benefits your company provides and the sector in which it is operating.

Greetings for the day! CTC breakdown generally depends on the company's policies, and its components may vary. You may divide the CTC as follows:
Basic Salary: 30% - 40% of CTC
Other Benefits: 70% - 60% of CTC (i.e., fixed benefits + benefits as a percentage of Basic Salary)
Thank you.

Hi Daksha, why don't you research or check the sidebar for related material on discussions that have already taken place here? It also contains many examples that you can use to find your answer. I believe that would be the best and easiest option for you. It gives you a better understanding by reading discussions and examples of calculations to study and use.
