Issuing an Absconding Letter
Any employer can issue an absconding letter to an employee after the notice period has been served, and the employer has not accepted the resignation due to manpower issues. The employee has fulfilled the committed notice period, completed pending tasks, handed over company assets, informed the concerned team, and left the organization.

Hi, Regardless of whether you completed the notice period and the handing over formalities, from the employer's perspective, if your departure is not approved, they will likely issue a warning letter. Instead of leaving without informing them, it would have been better to negotiate with your employer to agree on a mutually convenient exit date. While you may be correct legally, a future employer may not trust your word and will expect a proper relieving order.
