I'm at the final stages of the interview process and almost selected. On my resume, there was a typo regarding my joining date in one of my earlier organizations as Oct '18. When I rechecked my documents, I noticed that it was Dec '18 on my experience certificate. What should I do? Should I inform HR, as I do not want a problem with BGV? Kindly advise.

Dear member, please inform the organization that interviewed you about the anomaly in the date of joining in the experience letter. Let them know that you have already contacted the ex-company for the correction. Simultaneously, reach out to the ex-company to address the issue of the experience certificate with the correct date of joining. Please handle this promptly.
