I applied for a vacancy in a public sector bank, and while applying, I didn't mention my current employment experience in the private sector, where I worked for the last three years. I indicated that I'm practicing on my own, as I'm from the legal field, and didn't disclose my work in the private sector. Now that I have been asked to join the bank, there are some documents that I'm supposed to fill out. By completing these documents, all the joining formalities will be done.
There are a few columns in these documents where a candidate has to mention if they have worked anywhere before, the time period of work, and the designation held. In my previous company, I had my PF account and UAN. If I don't mention my previous employer, I'm concerned they will find out through the UAN linked to my PAN Card.
Should I disclose my previous employer (Private Company) in that form or not? Will it lead to any dispute if I don't mention my work in the private company? Kindly help.
