Seeking your guidance on the below scenarios:-
First Query:
An employee has been absconding, last present day on duty was Saturday. (Sunday we have weekly off). He remained absent for next 10days after that he sent the resignation. His last working day should be considered Saturday only or we are liable to pay him for Sunday as well.
Second Query:
An employee submitted his resignation on Monday (was not working, came to office to submit his resignation only). His last working day will be considered as Saturday or Monday. (If Saturday is he entitled to get paid for Sunday also).
Looking for suggestions.

In both the cases the employee is eligible for Sunday W.O. payment (presence) as he worked for whole previous week. Suresh
