to get benefit of EDLI the member has to be contributory at the time of death and in that month return the employer has to reflect the employee deceased with the date marked
employees marked as exit for retirement or cessation ( short service) are not eligible
as 2 yrs almost gone after the date, please update status that why this claim was not submitted in past years.

Calculation are here:
Monthly basic+Da= 7000
Multiple of 30
50% of total contribution
Formula: (Basic+da)*30+50% of total contribution
7000*30= 210000/-
Suppose to 50% of total contribution is = 5000/-
EDLI insurance amount is = 210000+5000= 215000/-
