Hi friends, after two years of service in my previous company, I withdrew my Provident Fund. In my PF statement, my EPS balance was ₹29,162/-, but the amount deposited is ₹21,950/-, which means there is a difference of ₹7,212/-. When I went to the PF office, they told me the reason was that I had left the company during the month, and my last date of working was the 15th. Therefore, the amount was less. They also mentioned a rule that if you leave the company during the month, the EPS amount will not be fully deposited. However, I have doubts about this.

Can you all please provide me with any suggestions or advice regarding this?

Please confirm whether in any month you have received your salary as arrears. This is possible only in the case of arrears PF filing. Please don't worry, as if your contribution didn't go to pension, it surely stays with the PF Account.
