Dear All, I have a query regarding the ESIC and PF. If an employee has worked only for 5 to 10 days and left the job, so will he/she be register for ESIC and PF? Thanks Sukanya
From India, Pune
ESIC and EPF registration of employees should be done immediately on joining but not later than 14 days. It does not matter that the employee worked for a few days or few hours, if any wages or salary are paid or are payable, then contributions are mandatory.
