Dear seniors,

I have completed my MBA (HR) and have 3 years of experience as an HR executive in the food industry. My management wants me to become a labor welfare officer. They are asking me to pursue the necessary course, for which they are willing to provide support. My question is, which course should I take to become a labor welfare officer? Please guide me.

Thank you.

RajithaSri,

Your organization employs more than 1000 workers. Normally, a Welfare Officer is a statutory requirement under the Factories Act. MSW, Labor Welfare Degree/Diploma, TISR degree, etc., are available. After completing the degree, one has to undergo a verbal/test assessment by DISH. Following this, one receives a registered number.
