Hi, one of the office boys working with us has an ESI card from the past 2 years, provided by his parent company. However, when he went to ESI for treatment, they denied him treatment because the card is not in his name in the ESI records. Now, who is responsible for changing the card? If the company does not respond properly to this issue, what can he do? Kindly suggest.

Present company has to add the IP in his ESI records and pay contributions. E-pahchan (TIC) duly annexed with Aadhar would be enough to get the benefits. Either his ESI card is not seeded with Aadhar or his contribution is unpaid. Otherwise, the department does not deny to honor the card. If any other type of trouble is being faced, then please post.
