Hi, my organization filled my Form 19 and 10C forms on 22nd Sep 2016 for withdrawal, post 60 days of my resignation. Today, 7th Oct 2016, when I called the EPFO office in Richmond Circle, I was informed that this PF claim had been settled on 27th Sep 2016, and a cheque has been sent to the Bommasandra office in Bangalore, addressing it to my new PF account with my new organization.
My grievance is that at no stage did I initiate or request my PF transfer to the new PF account. I had waited for more than 60 days to withdraw this PF amount for medication purposes, and now I have no idea how to proceed in getting the amount. Kindly help me understand why the cheque was sent to the Bommasandra office linking it to my new PF. I urgently need assistance in obtaining my PF amount. Your help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Kindly assist or guide me in getting my PF amount as soon as possible. Thank you for your help and guidance.

for EPF withdrawal the member has to be "ememployed" while filing the withdrawal, in case of the continuation of employment, it would get transferred on the UAN seeding to new account
Thank you for the reply. I was unemployed when I filled the withdrawal. I recently joined a new organization. Even then, the question here is, I never opted or initiated a PF transfer with my new organization. What would be the procedure now.

if aadhar is seeded both the paces it automatic tricks, your new employer has seeded your old UAN, ( he has to do it)
Thank you, do you know how to proceed in getting the amount? I am planning to visit the PF office in person this week. I also spoke to my current company's finance department, and he said he just linked UAN to the new PF account and has no idea about the old company's PF details.
Any help or words of advice on how to approach this and withdraw would be appreciated.
Appreciate your time.

You are not eligible to withdraw the PF amount since you are employed. Having filled up the withdrawal form, knowing you are not retiring but going to work further, is actually a fraudulent declaration on your forms. The government has taken steps to UAN specifically because of things like this.
I would suggest you instead check the possibility of taking a loan against the PF balance for medical purposes. There are rules that allow it to be done that way.

I sincerely thank you for the reply; it was really helpful. I was not employed when I filed my withdrawal, as I am fully aware that you can't withdraw while you are employed, and it requires 60 days of unemployment. This is where my confusion lies. In fact, it was more than 60 days after I started my employment that I filed for a withdrawal. As someone mentioned earlier, the issue seems to be the UAN linking during the release of funds.
I appreciate all the advice given, and I now have a clear understanding of what has transpired. I will be visiting the EPF office for further proceedings.
Thank you, GLIDOR, for your contributions to this forum. With that, I would like to conclude this discussion.
Cheers and God bless.
