I have been working in a construction company for 4 years as an HR Officer. I initially joined as a fresher with a reference from my uncle. However, I am now looking to change companies. Can you please suggest how I should prepare for an interview as someone with 4 years of experience? To date, I have not attended any interviews.
Thank you.

Thank you.

Dear Dali Naidu Mudadla,
With someone's reference or otherwise, you have been working in the current company for the last four years. How come a question on "how to face an interview" has come up from the HR Officer is not understood? In these four years, have you not seen how job interviews are conducted? How come you know nothing about recruitment? What kind of duties have you handled as an HR Officer? Why has your 4-year tenure not developed confidence in you?
I find logical inconsistency in your post. Please clarify further on your post.
Thanks,

Dear Mr. Atul Sharma, Yes, I am aware that not all HR Officers conduct interviews. Nevertheless, they cannot be blissfully unaware of how the interviews are conducted. Had the poster of this post worked as a Civil Engineer or Architect in his construction company, this question of how to face an interview would have been acceptable, but not from HR.
If the poster joined as a fresher four years ago, then he must have worked under an HR Manager or at least an HR Executive. How come he did not observe how job selection takes place or how the CVs are filtered?
During my HR days, once a Security Supervisor working in my company sent one of the job candidates away. Later, when I questioned him as to why he turned down this job candidate, he just replied, "I know whom you select. The candidate had poor communication skills." Possibly, you may construe the action of the Security Supervisor as his high-handedness, but his sense of observation cannot be ignored. The context of my previous post was how come the originator of this post did not observe how the interviews are conducted and nothing more.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar

Thank you for your valuable reply, sir. Earlier, we conducted the interview two times. During those times, my head office officials came to conduct the interview, and I assisted them with tasks such as CV evaluation, paper advertisement, and communicating with applicants regarding job details and venue.
I am curious about why I have not yet had the chance to face an interview. Could you provide some insight into this? Additionally, I would appreciate your suggestions on which computer courses would be useful for my future projects and how I can prepare to join MNC companies.
Your guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated, sir.
