Hi,

Could you please let me know the job responsibilities of an HR professional who has 4 years of experience, specifically in corporate culture? I am interested in understanding what knowledge and skills a person should possess when applying for a job with such experience. Additionally, could you provide me with a format for creating a self-explanatory payroll structure?

Find below the details regarding the payroll.

Payroll is the salary processing system.

Payroll can be seen from two aspects. One is from the HR side and the other from the commercial people's side. The HR personnel process the payroll by means of sending attendance details, or better to say, Leave Without Pay (LWP) details, and other complete information that an employee is going to receive in a particular month.

After receiving those details, the commercial people start entering data into the payroll software, initiating the salary processing.

While processing the salary for a particular month, we, the HR personnel, provide complete LWP details to the commercial department.

When calculating LWP, we prepare the attendance sheet with the weekly offs. Besides weekly offs, we check how many days an employee is absent, out of which how many days he was on leave, cross-checking with leave applications. If the employee has submitted an approved leave application form and the leave is available in his account, then we mark him on leave.

However, if the person has not submitted the leave application form, or he doesn't have any leave balance, then for that specific day, the employee will be considered absent, and we will deduct his salary for that day.

Similarly, if there is a provision to provide one day's extra salary for a specific day if the employee does come, then we calculate one day of extra salary for those employees who were present on that day.

The information you provided was useful, thank you so much. I have yet to go through a few of them. For easy understanding, I would like to tell you about my company. The company has a software development center and a BPO center. I have implemented a few things like dress code, attendance, etc. I worked previously in recruiting. I am currently working as an HR. I know a few things, but there are some areas where I need guidance in order to grow and be a good HR professional. That's why I asked about HR job responsibilities. As I am new, my job responsibilities include bidding on projects, email campaigns, issuing offer letters, and employee relations. I would like to learn more and implement new things such as events. Recently, on a Friday, I suggested that everyone should wear the same color dress. I would like to introduce more initiatives like that. Also, please let me know what else I am responsible for as an HR.
