I am sending the list of labor laws for you to gain basic knowledge to handle the job assigned to you. It is not necessary to understand the applicability of labor laws vaguely. However, observing practical situations is necessary before considering the application of the law.
Thank you.

Regarding the applicability of labour laws there is no difference between private or public sector Cos except a provision in Payment of Bonus Act and appropriate Govt. Varghese Mathew 9961266966

Just go through the definitions (preamble) of every law which you think is applicable or not. You will get an idea. Every law that satisfies the preamble will be applicable irrespective of the private sector. Hope this will help you.

As I am preparing for the NET exam, I need to study labor law. Is this the complete labor law, or are there more sections to add? Please let me know, as the content of this labor law is very useful. Thank you very much for updating.

Seeking Legal Advice on Forced Resignation and Salary Withholding
I am new to this forum and have a problem regarding my current situation. I hope you can help me with my legal rights.
I am working in a private Ltd. company. My manager is asking me to resign from my position because I raised a complaint against him in HR for his rude behavior. I didn't attend a weekly meeting due to personal reasons, which I informed in advance. Now, I am not ready to resign because if I do, I will not receive my March salary, which is due on the 7th of April. However, my manager said if I don't resign before the 7th, he will withhold my salary, stating that I will not receive my March salary and Full and Final (FNF) settlement if I resign after the 7th. In short, he wants my salary to be converted into FNF, and I should suffer without salary until the full and final settlement. Even my HR supports his words and is pressuring me to resign. Does he have the right to hold my salary just because I am not resigning as per his choice?
Please help me with legal advice.
