Dear Seniors,

Suddenly, one of our employees has passed away, so I am required to provide the benefits of EPFO. I have filled out Form 20 and Form 10 D, but regarding EDLI, it has not been updated, and I have not had the chance to work on this yet. Therefore, I kindly request all of you to please assist me with this.

Thank you.

Dear Anujsaini,

I believe you are remitting the EDLI amount to EPFO. If so, the member's nominee will receive 20 times the salary, subject to a salary ceiling of Rs. 6500/- or compensation of Rs. 1,30,000. Please contact the Regional PF Commissioner's Office.

Dear Anju Saini,

Member's salary will be either Rs. 6500 or below or above Rs. 6500. If the salary is below Rs. 6500, compensation from EPFO towards EDLI is 20 times of salary. If it is Rs. 6500 & above, compensation will be Rs. 1,30,000.
