Dear Piyush,
If an employee has passed away, they will be eligible for EDLI's 1976. They will receive benefits amounting to 60,000/- Rupees from the Central government (i.e. in the PF Office). However, the nominee has to fill Form-5(1F) along with providing the following documents:
- Death certificate
- FIR
- Migration certificate
- Nominee's bank passbook (xerox copy)
- Nominee's Bank Account number
- ID Proof
