Dear all, I was employed with a private company in Faridabad, Haryana, from 1975 to 2000, and resigned in May 2000 to take up another job in Canada. I have a scheme certificate in possession, 20 years of past service as of November 15, 1995, plus 4 years and 6 months till May 2000. According to the scheme certificate, my eligible service is 25 years. I turned 58 years old in November last year.
My Problems
a) I don't know where to apply.
b) To whom should I contact?
c) What documents need to be submitted?
d) What is the possibility of getting the pension?
e) Can I use my NRO Account to get the pension?
Could anyone please help me with the above details?
Regards,

Please approach the nearest EPF Office at your location with your service certificate/experience certificates and both the scheme certificates to seek advice. You can also visit the [EPFO (Govt. of India) website](http://www.epfindia.gov.in/) or [Home Page](http://epfigms.gov.in/grievanceRegnFrm.aspx?csession=6mOZ9WfRfoa) for online guidance.

It is not clear where you are residing, in India or abroad. If you are in India, you need to approach your previous employer where you last worked in India. First, apply in Form 19 for the PF amounts, and for the pension, you need to apply in Form 10D and submit it along with the scheme certificate (original). To get your pension deposited into your savings account, you need to have a bank account in India, either with SBI (which is a preferred bank for all purposes as it has a large number of branches spread across India) or any other bank prescribed by the PF authorities of Haryana.
These forms should be duly signed by your employer. In case the company is not existing, you can seek help from the Sub-Regional or Regional PF office where your contributions are remitted.

Thank you very much for the details. I have been living in Canada since 2000. My scheme certificate was obtained from the EPFO Regional office in Faridabad in November 2000.
Clarification Needed on Attestation Requirement
I want to clarify one more point: as I have not worked in any establishment in India after obtaining my Scheme certificate in 2000, do I have to go back to my earlier employer for attestation?
