Hi, I'm currently self-employed in Chennai. Well, I was working for IBM Pune between 2007 to 2009. Their PF office was in Bangalore. It's been almost 4yrs since I quit my job but yet to withdraw PF. Can someone explain to me the process and form details to be submitted? Also, should I send the form to my Pune IBM or directly to the Banglore PF office? Any help would be much appreciated.

You have to submit your form into Pune office, from that location you have to coordinate and take follow up after necessary time. I suggest you to submit your Form 19 & 10C to your pune office from there you trace your withdrawal application, now a days there is facility of having sms aleres once your PF form register into your origin PF office, again you will receive an alert once your claim is approved, again you receive sms alert once your pf balance got credited into your bank account, that means if you are not receiving sms alerts from PF office, that means your PF form is not submitted by your HR coordinators, that make sense to take followup with them. I hope your query is cleared now.

Hi kartikh
After due counter attestation in Form 19 & 10 C, Xerox copy of bank Passbook, identity proof (Driving license, Photo I card), Form 5/10 from authorised officer of (IBM Pune),
Mention your Mobile no in the forms
submit the form to Banglore EPFO office.
After submitting the form to Provident fund office you will receive SMS and unique identification no of forms submitted.
On settlement of your claim in Accounts branch of PF office, you will receive SMS indicating amount.
now a days PF amount is disbursed to your bank through NEFT, which is within 2 to 4 days after settlement of claim.
regards
