I am working in HRD in a captive center for a US-based Business Improvement Company. Currently, we have 12 days of CL and 18 EL leaves as a policy. The CL is credited in advance every year, and EL is credited after the probation at the end of every quarter. The leave calendar is from Jan-Dec.
We are looking at revamping the leave policy to match the industry standards. Can anyone provide me with the leave details and policies of leading companies in India?

Your leave policy is in line with the requirements of the law concerning total leave days and the crediting mechanism. The leave must adhere to the rules of the Shops and Establishments Act. Therefore, please review the act applicable to your state and ensure that the number of PL and CL days align with the requirements. Additionally, if ESIC does not apply, you may need to allocate a certain number of Sick Leave days.
