A course would not be effective at all to learn recruitment. Experience in recruiting people will help you gain in-depth insight into workplace planning, hiring strategies, tools (portals, referrals, campus, etc.), how to communicate with candidates, how to shortlist profiles based on criteria or job descriptions, how to make a cold call, conduct campus drives, walk-ins, creating databanks, employer branding, etc. You will be an effective hirer if you can attract more quality candidates within the budget and with the available resources provided to you.
