Hi, I just want to know the HR policies that are applicable to construction workers as they are entitled to daily wages. Alongside, I want to know the statutory requirements associated with the concerned industry.

2. All workers are to be covered under EPF.
3. ESI coverage or WCP

Facilities and Management
4. Facilities as per Factories Act - medical, rest, etc.
5. Time card management

Wage and Labour Act Enforcement
6. Minimum Wages Act enforcement
7. Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act enforcement
8. ID card management, etc.

Thanks ajay sharma.......... But still i have a doubt that those labours working in site cant be treated as a permanent employee.then how can we enroll them in epf & esi?
