There is no specific safety supervisor qualification in the Indian industry and construction sectors. The BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) Act and the Factories Act are guiding the minimum qualifications for a safety officer. What exactly are you looking for?

"Safety Supervisor" is not a position defined in any act or rule. The management of any industry or construction site appoints this position to assist their safety officer in handling the nature of hazards present. This implies that any individual can be appointed as a Safety Supervisor since they are accountable solely to their boss or Safety Officer/Manager.
