Good morning, everyone. I hope all is well. I have a query regarding who is supposed to fill out the TNA form.

1. The manager: Because they are the ones who see the employee's performance and can judge the type of training and development needed.

2. The employee themselves should fill it out, as they are the ones who know their weaknesses best.

Thanks and looking forward to your input.

The Role of Managers and Employees in Completing TNA Forms

What's stopping the manager and the employee from completing the TNA form? It's not as if filling it out by one nullifies or reduces the impact of completing it by the other.

In fact, any TNA done correctly should incorporate a number of elements—particularly involving the employee and their immediate supervisor/manager.

There is no harm in completing TNA forms, just like a 360-degree evaluation form. In fact, why not make the TNA an integral element of the 360 assessment itself?
