Respected Members,

Pranam,

One month ago, I sent a request letter to the company to clear my pending travel expenses of 40k and the remaining salary of Rs. 15k. However, they replied to me point by point stating that the deductions were made according to company policy. The tour expenses date back to 5-6 months, yet I was never warned that the tour amount might not be approved. I am at a loss of Rs. 55k. It has been a year, and the due amount has still not been cleared. In response to my recent request letter, they stated point by point that all these claims were not cleared in accordance with the company's rules.

I appeal to all members that these claims are genuine, and I seek justice. I have worked for 8 months in this company. Please provide urgent guidance as I need to meet with a lawyer today.

Regards,

"As per policy"

Have you ever contributed to prevailing just, fair, and reasonable policies? If not, then litigation is the way out. Getting a favorable decision through litigation is also a matter of chance.

If you are in the right position and you know that the bills you are claiming are as per the company policy, then my suggestion is that it is better to have a telephonic conversation or visit your HR in person to clarify any questions about your bills and pending salary.

I agree with Dr. Jogeshwar Mahanta. It's a fruitless fight if we do not have enough information for the case at hand. Employees always feel they are being cheated, while Employers always feel they have been fair and just.

Well, trial is no bar but let us have a precise information about the probability of success.

Well, I feel that if one has a clear understanding of the company policies (which are usually detailed and often unknown until we find ourselves on the wrong end), the company's past precedents on cases, and maintains a balanced "let go" attitude, it will help us resolve many problems and maintain relationships without too many hurt feelings. In the end, we are all in business and may need each other someday.

Hope this makes sense.

Employee always feels he is being cheated, and employers always feel they have been fair and just.

Is it always so? Is the situation unalterable? If so, is justice a utopia?

Well, you have touched on the subject that has long been debated and will continue to be debated without any conclusion. Some will receive justice, while others will never see it. Even learned and wise individuals have failed to provide an answer, so, you see, I, the least of them, cannot either. Ha ha ha...

That's what I wrote above. https://www.citehr.com/423458-want-justice.html

In conclusion, I would like to say: "Be happy with what you have, and be doubly happy with what you don't have." Cheers.

Enjoy and be happy with what you have. Worry not for what you lost or what you did not get. Do adequate effort for what you want to get.

TS seeks guidance on this. So far, he has got very little. Let us see what comes next.

Well, modern man lacks adequate empathy but seeks sympathy as and when he is in a fix. Can modern man pep up empathy too?
