Hi Raghuram,

This is more relevant to HR people and trainers. This is how a leader should be. He should always lead by example, not by preaching! Secondly, it will definitely motivate youngsters to emulate Sachin Tendulkar. Trainers can give this example while dealing with leadership competencies. I hope many MPs will be influenced by these examples (those who are no longer ministers and still have not vacated the official residence).

KEEP IT UP SACHIN. WE ARE WITH YOU. YOU HAVE SHOWN THE RIGHT WAY.

Unfortunately the latest news reports say that he actually refused because everyone who lived there died in accident. So I guess this is also a lesson in media management :)

In India, we are really biased. I am not against Sachin; I am his fan. But what about others like Vishwanathan Anand and many more who do not have political shelter or the support of Ambani's? Please don't mind, also learn from Australian players who are voluntarily retiring or retired.

I don't know if it is necessary for Sachin or other players to retire from cricket when they are contributing well compared to other players. If there is anyone who is not used to seeing Tendulkar play, I advise those people to stop watching cricket. Because if somebody wants to serve his country with his vision and dreams, nobody has the right to advise him to stop doing the same.

Hi all,

People are talking about Sachin's retirement! But Harsha Bhogle (the commentator) in a video released two years ago had said that whenever there is no cricket match, people think Sachin might be enjoying Lata Mangeshkar's melodies sitting in his house in an air-conditioned room! Harsha Bhogle says they are thoroughly mistaken. Whenever there is no cricket match, you can see Sachin playing cricket from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in cricket grounds!! He breathes cricket, eats cricket, and sleeps cricket. That is why he is there. He always tries to keep himself fit. We should not pay heed to the sayings of the Chappell brothers, who are jealous of Sachin and his achievements. Greg came to India to destroy the Indian cricket team but thank God a thousand times he left. Compared to the greatest cricketers, certainly Sachin is the best and his records speak for themselves. There is no gainsaying about it. Let us not shy away from facts.

Trainers can cite the example of Sachin and impress upon the participants about the need to put in hard work like Sachin if training has to be effective at the workplace and if they want to make a mark in their organization.
