I am working with Ocwen Financial Solution Pvt Limited (Regd. office - Bangalore, India) with my work location in Mumbai. It's a KPO based on U.S. HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program) introduced by U.S. President Mr. Obama. My work is related to loan processing and underwriting for U.S. citizens only. We are not getting Indian festival holidays that are declared by the Indian government, even on 26th January 2012. When I spoke to the Team leader, he informed me that we are eligible for only U.S. holidays since it's a U.S. process. However, in my Offer of Employment and employment agreement, there is no mention of holidays being based on the U.S. calendar.

Kindly provide suggestions on how to address this issue. If you could email me at my email ID, I would be very thankful.

Note: My employment letter states, "This Agreement is made with reference to the law of India, and the appropriate court in Bangalore will have jurisdiction for all legal matters."

Thanks,
Deepak
