You should go for a module in which you have domain knowledge. As you are an engineer, you can opt for SAP-ABAP or Basis, but since you have good experience in sales, SAP-SD could also be an option for you. You need to choose your area of interest, whether you want to be a technical or a functional consultant.

Thank you for your reply. I have started my learning in CRM Functional from Kolkata itself, dedicating my full time towards it. Yes, you are right, I have been in sales for quite a while, and getting into ABAP technical might not be initially right for me. I hope I do well.
