Hi all, in our company, we did not have a union for almost 11 years. Now, some of the workers have formed a union. Since I have never dealt with this before, please guide me on how to proceed and what areas I need to take care of.

Thanks in advance,

Raj

What is the strength of your company? If it is large, you can help them get registered and keep the union under your control. Otherwise, you can create another union and encourage the maximum number of employees to join the union you have established. Once approved, register this union with the Labour Commissioner's Office. This way, the Trade Union will be under your control, and you will not encounter any work-related issues.

Review the Trade Union Act

Please review the Trade Union Act, as recommended by White Eagle. I have attached it for your easy reference.

All the best.
