Dear Friend,

Your requirement is not clear. For late coming, you have to send a circular to all the employees about the timings and the maximum relaxation that the company prefers:
- A maximum of thirty minutes or three times in a month
- For example, if an employee is delayed by 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 5 minutes, totaling three minutes, then his accepted relaxed time is over. If the delay reaches 30 minutes in a single stretch, he is not eligible for any further relaxation, either one or the other.
- Beyond 3 times / 30 minutes, then what will be the penalty needs to be mentioned.

In the above manner, you have to prepare a communication and forward it to all the employees and implement.

Thanks and regards,
kamsh

Hi, I'm having some trouble computing for the lateness of employees. The normal hours of work are 8 hours, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. I can only calculate the number of hours worked, but not for lateness. For example, if an employee logs in at 8:30 am, then they are late by 30 minutes. How can I calculate that without the need for decimalization of minutes?
