Hi everybody, I've been working as an HR professional for the past year. I'm looking for a job change, but everyone wants candidates who are proficient in using job portals, which I'm not familiar with. Can anyone please help me learn how to conduct recruitment through portals?

Thank you.

It's very simple. Once you buy a hot vacancy and post a job, you can receive plenty of resumes. In your job portal inbox, you can easily view important criteria by clicking on one's resume. In resume search, just mention the basic criteria that you feel are very important, then click search. If you are looking for more detailed information or any other specific details, please let me know so that I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Regards

Procedure for Searching Candidates' Resumes on Job Portals

Can you please provide the step-by-step procedure for searching candidates' resumes on job portals? Suppose I am looking for a Biz Dev Exec. How should I proceed? What is the next step after I have identified a couple of resumes that meet my criteria? Where should I save them? Is there any software that can assist in this process?

Please help me out.

Once you have searched for the candidates, if you want to save the entire search, normally the portal gives you the option above to save the searches where all the resumes will be saved. Whenever you require, you can log in and download the resumes.

By the way, which portal are you using?

- Go to the job portal and navigate to the Employer Zone.
- Enter your login details (you may need to purchase a hot vacancy from the job portals). There will be two options: 1. Job posting & 2. Resume search.
- Click on the resume search tab.
- Type your keyword (designation).
- If you want a specific location, enter your desired location.
- Now enter the desired experience.
- Sometimes all the above will be filled in a single box. Example: Designation, Skill, Experience, Location. (e.g., HR, Tally, payroll, etc., 2-5, Chennai)
- You can also use skills as your keywords.
- After filling in all the necessary details, click search. You will receive many profiles.
- Click on those profiles to view their full resumes. Now, validate the resumes (check designation, skills, experience, expected CTC, etc.).
- Once you find a suitable resume, you can save those resumes in your job portal inbox. You can download resumes as and when required.

Make sure to check the date of the profile, as some resumes may suit your requirements but could be outdated.

I hope you find this helpful. Feel free to contact me in case of any doubts!
