Dear Member, We do not find any such provision under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. R.N.KHOLA

The gratuity is payable only on attaining the age of superannuation, on retirement, on leaving the services of a particular employee, and that too after the completion of 5 years of continuous service, or in case of death.

If your service falls within any of the above conditions, you will certainly be eligible for the gratuity; otherwise, not.
