Hi all, I am an HR Officer in an IT company. I believe that our company's HR policies are not employee-friendly. Whenever the company proposes something new, it includes clauses that seem to be against the employees.
Need for Employee-Friendly HR Policies
To make our policies more employee-friendly, I need to present to the management that our policies are not up to standard. For this, I need a database and clues about the policies of other SME IT companies. It would be really helpful for me. Please revert.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Rama.

I appreciate your effort to bring about a change. The research that you have started to validate your suggestion is commendable. Please do include policies followed by the companies in Kolkata. A local reference would add a lot more value. Please do make bullet points comparing the existing policies with what is practiced in the company.
Please keep in mind that you need to balance the employee champion act with being a business partner. Keep your points logical and related to the system without singling out any individual in the system. More importantly, please calculate the business risks that would need to be mitigated once these policies are implemented. When proposing changes, list all the risks and mitigation plans proactively.
