First, you should provide information about your organization size, type, and location. If you ask HR professionals, they may provide their own perspective, which may not serve your purpose.

I agree with Sumit. Bands vary from company to company. If you are looking for this information from a company policy point of view, you should conduct a proper survey through consultants and establish the bands to maintain parity and uniformity across the company.
