Good morning, please clarify the following: One year ago, we obtained a contract labour license for one of our projects. At that time, we paid a security deposit of Rs 10,000 to the Labour Office. Now that our project is over, we want to withdraw that amount. What is the procedure?

It would be better to approach the area labor office or the office of the Licensing Officer with whom you have deposited this security amount to understand the procedure for obtaining a refund of the security.

You need to submit Form VI-A (Notice of Completion of Contract Work) under Rule 25 (2) (VIII) to the inspector appointed under Section 28 of the concerned act.
