Dear Mr. Honey Kant,
I think you have read all the other points, but please also consider my point. If you are in a learning period, calculating the working hours or following the law may keep you in the same position in the future. To advance your career, focus not only on your working hours but also dedicate extra time to learning on the job.
As a side note, I would like to mention that many managers or senior employees typically work 12 hours a day. To reach that level, do not just track the time spent; instead, see it as an opportunity to learn and progress in your career. Assess your current situation.
Regards,
Flyingstarter.

Dear Mr. Honey Kanth,
Please follow the instructions/guidelines of the Factories Act as posted by Mr. MV Kannan, if your company is a manufacturing unit. Flying Starters' advice is for your individual career. If you are an executive or manager, you may work for more than 8 hours. Please do not apply this for legal and statutory compliances. However, be clear that Mr. Kannan's points are for the workers/staff covered under the Factories Act. There is no problem if managers/executives work beyond 8 hours, as they come under the management category.
Regards,
K. Ramachandra
