Dear All,
I have studied here that employee contribution of 12% is his PF amount. Employers 12% will be further divided into PF & Pension fund as 8.33% & 3.67% so total is 12%. remaining 1.61% is admin charges. They are further divided as 1.1% (Admin Charges), 0.5%(EDLI Charges) & .01% EDLI Admin charges. so total will be 13.61%
Now here the employer contribution becomes 13.61% instead of 12%
Kindly suggest Is Employer contribution is 12% or 13.61%

Dear Friend,
Employer contribution split in to two parts that is P.F (3.67%) + FPF (8.33 %), about 1.61% it an administration cost/charges to employer. As per P.F norms employer has to pay 1.61% administration charges on total wages and these charges not at all an income of employee. Note that at that time of withdrawal employee gets only 24% (employee 12% + Employer 3.67% (P.F) + 8.33% (FPF).
Anyway the same kind of questions has raised many times in this forum, my suggestion is you better use search tab which is left side on top. I am sure you will get bunch of information on this matter.

Hi Amrita,
As per my knowledge Employer contribution is 13.61 which actually is combination of 12% of Basic + DA amount of an employee which is as said by you furthur split as 8.33% goes to employees Pension find and 3.67 goes actually to employees PF account. Whereas reamining 1.61% from 13.61% are the administrative charges which are furthur divided as u said.
Hope you got the break-up correctly.
Regards,
Apeksha.
