Hi all,

I am Geetha. This is my first time posting a message on Cite HR. I find this platform to be very informative and useful.

I would like to introduce PMS in my organization. Can somebody please suggest how to take it forward and outline the steps involved?

Hi Dinesh,

Thank you for your reply. My company (being small) is not looking for any consultants at the moment. They expect the HR Manager to initiate this. Hence, I thought of getting some inputs from experienced professionals through cite hr.

Thanks,
Geetha

Dear Geetha, PMS is major HR intervention and not a child’s play. It has to be handled with due sensitivity lest it may do more damage than good. Ok... DVD

Hi Geetha,

To design a performance appraisal system, some points are very common related to concepts of PA. These points you may get from any site. Secondly, the most important points are those related to your company, such as the strength of employees, job descriptions, and key qualities that matter to the company. Only by having an in-depth understanding of such points can you design an effective PMS for the company. Now, what type of help would you require? Please tell me.

Thanks & Regards,
Priya
