Hi! We want to absorb a staff member who is currently on a retainer basis into our company's payrolls. Please guide us through the process as well as the legal implications of the same. Can we issue the staff member a termination letter effective until the last day of the month and then issue an appointment letter with an effective date of the first day of the following month?
