Hello,

Please check whether it is an approved course. Based on my personal experiences, distance education does not necessarily help in securing a job. It can be said that distance education is given little weightage.

Take care.

Hi K. Adil,

Thank you for your message. I would like to pursue a course through distance learning as I am currently working and unable to attend regular classes. I am aware that correspondence courses may not be given the same weightage as traditional ones, but I believe that the certificate can be supported by real-life practical knowledge. In this scenario, it is not just the certificate that will help in securing a job, but it will also enhance one's professional qualifications.

Thank you once again for writing.

Regards,
K. Adil

Hello,

I agree with you. It depends on the profession you are taking up. If you are opting for a teaching profession, there are few chances for distance courses. If you are in a corporate sector, distance courses are a great boon to enhance one's own knowledge.

Hi Adil,

The first thing I would like to ask you is in which part of India are you working? If you are working in Bangalore, then I can definitely tell you something that will help you regarding Pondicherry University's MBA in HR.

It is a central university under the Ministry of Human Resource, Government of India. The syllabus and standards are good. You need to get a minimum of 50% to pass. My advice to you is to check if they have a twinning program which is run by the university/institute at your place. You can work and attend evening courses. MBA (HRM) is available. The course fee is also reasonable/affordable.
