You can do it. It is also a well-known university, but not the best in distance learning. My suggestion is to consider doing it at IGNOU; it would help you the most in the future.
Now, you can come to a conclusion based on your idea.

Instead of enrolling at Madurai Kamaraj University, I suggest that you consider enrolling at IGNOU or Symbiosis. It will add more value to your MBA.

My problem is, I didn't get the form for Symbiosis as it was not available anywhere. So now I have to wait until next year, and I don't want to waste my 1 year now as it's already late. IGNOU requires 3 years of experience for an MBA. I have not yet completed 3 years of experience. I am in Ahmedabad; NMIMS people are not conducting distance learning from Ahmedabad as of now.
I want to pursue an MBA to gain a label, to earn a degree, because nowadays everybody is doing an MBA. So, if you want to join a big organization, then an MBA is a must to appear in interviews as well. As far as learning and knowledge are concerned, one can always learn from books and the internet. But if you don't have an MBA label, then you will not be eligible for interviews either.
Since I didn't have any other option and time, I have decided to pursue it from Madurai, even though it is also a 2-year program. I hope it will prove to be the right decision.

There is a college in Abu Dhabi offering MBA programs through both distance education and regular classes. You can opt for distance education from there. It is affiliated with Vinayaka Mission University and I believe it is recognized by AICTE. Some of my friends are pursuing their MBA from this college. You can contact its Principal, Amit Singh, at 09460715797. Even though you will be pursuing it through distance learning, you can still expect good placement opportunities as the college has a strong placement network. Good luck!
