Are there young managers out there? Please tell me about your experience in confronting sheer "ATTITUDE" in your employees and how you managed it without losing your self-respect and avoiding trouble.
I recall one of our friends in the forum mentioning that attitude issues hinder young HR managers in implementing creative/useful policies. Can anyone who agrees with this elaborate on it?
Those with knowledge and experience in this area, please share your thoughts. Your valuable inputs may indeed be of great help to me in managing my problems more effectively.

It looks like you are in trouble. Handling senior team members in the team, as well as those from different departments, can indeed be difficult. I would suggest that you continue working and follow what your seniors have to say. You will face many obstacles, and people may oppose you for everything and anything. They may form groups and operate separately, colleagues might stop talking to you, and other challenges may arise for some time. It is important to remain professional and true to yourself. Communicate with them when necessary and maintain a thoroughly professional relationship. Focus on delivering results in your work areas, and you will see a change. What truly matters is the final output for the organization.
Keep delivering good work and leave the rest to the BIG BOSS!

Thank you very much for showing interest in my topic. I work in the HR department. Individuals in the technical department sometimes behave a bit strangely. Their amateur behavior really gets on my nerves. Some people don't even know how to use professional language. They try to underestimate others just because they play a key role in the company. I maintain my professionalism, but when these occurrences become more frequent, it becomes a concern for us.
At times, it is very upsetting to experience waves of jealousy, narrow-mindedness, and bad attitudes. This can be most pronounced when someone is promoted from a Senior Executive to a manager within the same company.
What you said is true. We need to maintain professionalism and be true to ourselves.

Hi Mili,
Unable to open file, this problem generally occurs at CITEHR. So, one of the fixes I found out for this. Do not straight away click on the attachment:
1) Right-click the attachment
2) Select the option "Save target as"
3) Save it.
This generally works, try the luck for you :)
