Dear all,
I have chosen Human Resource and Development, Organisation Development as my minor subjects, and I have to choose one more. However, I am confused between "Industrial Relations and Labour Law" and "Collective Bargaining and Wage Policy." Please suggest as soon as possible.
Thank you.

"Industrial Relation & Labour Law" would be little tougher than the second one but it would so useful in all means.. :)

Well, I think Industrial Relations and labor laws are a much broader subject. It also includes collective bargaining, wage policy, etc. So, it would be good for you to learn IR as a whole. Apart from collective bargaining and wage policy, you will also get an idea about other things like strikes, various bipartite and tripartite bodies, dispute handling, conflict resolution, grievance machinery, etc.
So, if I were in your place, I would have chosen IR and labor laws.
Take care!

Dear friend,
In my opinion, both are important, but if you have to choose one, I would suggest you go for IR and Labour Laws. This is because of two reasons. Firstly, its knowledge is a must for HR professionals. Secondly, you will get a little knowledge about Collective Bargaining in IR. As far as the knowledge of wage policy is concerned, you can develop your own understanding after going through related books.
