Dear All,

I have one query about final settlement. When an employee quits a job with one month's notice, should that one month notice period be considered in their final settlement or not? In other words, should the calculation for the final settlement date of release be considered, or should the date of resignation be taken into account?

Please clarify.

As soon as the employee gives his resignation letter, the HR stops his salary. In case the employee serves a notice period, we will include the same in the final settlement.

Hope this clarifies.
