Mr. Khola,

We are going to deposit the labor welfare fund for our Kolkata office under the West Bengal Labor Welfare Fund. Could you please guide me on whether any covering letter or form needs to be filled along with it? Someone has told me to fill out Form D, but I do not have the format yet.

Dear all,

There is a new amendment in Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Fund contribution rates with effect from March 2012. The new rates are Rs 15 from the employee and Rs 45 from the employer, with a minimum contribution of Rs 1500. Previously, contributions were Rs 6 from the employee and Rs 18 from the employer. If the employer's share is less than Rs 1500, then a minimum of Rs 1500 has to be paid.
